Objects of War

Lamina Joreige has an exhibition at the Tate Modern called Objects of War.

She asked people from her home country of the Lebanon to choose one object that reminded them of the Lebanese war and that had a special significance for them, even if the item itself was not extraordinary.  For example, one man chose his front door key as his object.  He had left Lebanon during the conflict but always carried the key around with him to remind him of home.
