Nordic Bar

A Nordic themed bar on Newman Street near Tottenham Court Road.  Things I learned about Nordic Bar:

- they order their herring directly from Denmark.

- it can get quite slippy behind the bar itself.

It's a good job I just write a blog (and a badly written one at that) because I learned a lot more than that but these are the only two things I can remember.  Maybe I should start taking notes...

Dance Afreaka

If you want a good workout but are a bit bored of regular aerobics classes then Dance Afreaka is for you!  It takes place every Wednesday in Fitness First just off Tottenham Court Road and every Friday in Fitness First Brixton.

The classes uses African dance techniques to help improve your fitness.  I am generally quite unfit and this was really a good workout!  The instructor made all the moves look so easy, but some of them involved a bit of thinking just to work out what muscles I needed to use to even do the moves!
