Promise was an extravaganza of Middle Eastern pop music. It was pretty empty at 10pm but suddenly got
busier around midnight. For those who
wanted to have something to eat there was a selection of mezze dishes for
£10. Entry to the bar was also £10,
which was initially a bit dubious about.
However, seeing a male belly dancer and a snake perform together, as
well as Arabic remixes of Psy’s Gangnam Style and Gasolina by Daddy Yankee made
the evening worth every penny.
After all
what more could you want from a night out?
